This 1970’s iconic ziggurat office building was by 2013 in serious need of an overhaul. By a radical rationalization of the cores, the practice achieved a massive gain in both the quantity and quality of floor space. The façade was completely re-glazed and the busy shopping arcade at street level was transformed by a new high-level “white wave” ceiling, imaginative lighting and new full height shopfronts.
