Won in competition, the Grove was one of a new breed of sophisticated country house hotels. The Grade II* listed mansion set in 300 acres of Green Belt parkland was fully restored and extended to incorporate 227 new rooms in a new wing set behind mature landscape, three restaurants and a 500 seat banquet and conference facility. The listed stable block was extended and converted to a health club, spa, pool and golf club house.
