Aukett Swanke won the redevelopment commission of this iconic Art Deco building in competition. Our winning design reverses previous clumsy refurbishments to restore the original architect’s vision, by introducing natural light into the lower floors though new atria in the positions of the original light-wells. The entire project was carried out with tenants in situ and was fully let shortly after completion.
